Just like any other mother and her children's first meeting, my first meeting with my seven kids was also not an accident. It was a fateful meeting. A sacred one, it could be said. One of the story that can make you tear up. It was beautiful. It was graceful.
Okay, I should really stop this.
First of all, they were not my kids. Obviously. I'm too young to be a mother, not to mention to have seven kids at the same time. And they were all older than me.
They are this Korean boy group called iKON. There are seven of them. I like to call them my kids because they always act like a bunch of kids. That is basically how I adopted all seven of them in my imaginary world, of course.
I'm not going to talk about them. Their names and other facts. You can easily search their name on Google. It was not what I want to talk about here.
I want to talk about how I met all of them last year. On September 3rd, to be exact.
Like I've said above, it was no coincidence that I met them. I payed a lot of money to meet them. I went a long distance to see them. I went the whole 44 km almost for five hours because traffic was being a pain that day. I even payed the most expensive place just to see them up close. One of the few things I regret about that actually.
Well, yeah. I went to their concert when they came to Indonesia last year. It was called "iKONCERT 2016: SHOWTIME TOUR in JAKARTA". An irony since the place where they performed was at ICE BSD, which is in Tangerang City. But I guess it would be too weird if the event was called "iKONCERT 2016: SHOWTIME TOUR in TANGERANG" or "iKONCERT 2016: SHOWTIME TOUR in BANTEN". It was the wiser decision to say it was in Jakarta.
I think I was a bit too excited about this event. Well, I was very excited about them. It was to the point that I looked for friends before the concert and made a bunch of new friends. I even booked a hotel room so I would be able to get in the queue long before the concert. I bought a bunch of their merchandise too.
One of the benefits of buying the most expensive one was being able to watch their sound check session. So after waiting in line for around an hour or so, the VIP section went inside the venue's hall to watch the sound check session. It was fun but I only got a glimpse of them because I was too busy trying to catch some breath. I was basically squeezed in between tall people and I had a very hard time breathing.
But I guess it was still a great experience. I got the chance to see them up close and hear them sing live. And they were 100000000000000000x more beautiful in real life than on my laptop screen. It was real fun. I had so much fun.
They were really pretty too.
Have I said that?
I did?
Okay.
I got nothing more to say then. That basically said it all.
Bye <3
